Australia's Rapid Ply is a versatile system of modular
formwork panels for straight or curved walls and
also suitable for small slab, beam and column formwork.
RMD's Rapid Ply formwork system is highly effective because:
- Rapid Ply panels are made from high tensile steel
frames which makes the panels more rigid, more robust
and up to 5kg/m² lighter than competitor panels.
- Can be used without requiring a crane, which dramatically
reduces construction costs.
- The 12mm thick plywood with a heavy-duty phenolic
overlay on the face provides extra long life and a high
quality finish for the concrete.
- Rapid Ply has a wide range of panel sizes, allowing
virtually any configuration to be erected.
- The erection and striking of Rapid Ply is fast and
straight forward and only needs a team of two; saving
time and money.
- Panels are attached together using dual-purpose wedges,
which improve erection times.
- Rapid Ply’s comprehensive range of accessories
enable it to be used in an extensive range of construction
projects.
- Rapid Ply panels can be used with RMD Australia’s
Super Slim Soldiers to create large crane handled formwork
shutters.
- Rapid Ply Panels may be used for the construction
of circular walls using either panels with Rapid Ties,
or in crane handled sections with Super Slim Soldiers.
