Crane assisted climbing formwork system
Rapidclimb is a crane assisted climbing formwork system that provides safe, self-contained working platform levels for economical wall forming.
Rapidclimb's rack and pinion bracket movement mechanism is operated from a comfortable position to one side of it so that the bracket, with formwork attached, can be safely moved towards or away from the concrete forming area for easy inspection of the concrete and formwork.
Some of the other benefits of using Rapidclimb are:
- Simple lateral adjustment of the formwork relative to the platform can occur by fine–tuning the slotted mountings that connect at the bottom of the formwork
- Rapidclimb has a wedge locking device which secures the position of the form when it is stationery, making it safe
- Climbing Brackets (30kN) connect to the wall with recoverable anchor screws, so there are no lost parts and less cost
- An integral hinge allows the formwork to incline relative to the platform enabling the forming of diagonal walls
- The Rapidclimb working platform is safe because a tripping hazard can be avoided by having the deck beams at the same level as the top of the climbing bracket
- Suspended platforms enable the removal of wall brackets and all necessary concrete finishing
- An integral vertical adjustment jack provides fine levelling of the formwork relative to the platform
