Autoclimb self-climbing formwork system allowed construction
of the 30 floor Queen Street Apartment to continue safely
and ahead of schedule, despite the windy conditions that
prevailed at the time.
Specialist contractor, Di Pompo Construction Pty Ltd,
working for main contractor, Mutiplex Construction Pty
Ltd, was the first Australian company to recognise the
unique package of cost and program saving benefits offered
by the RMD Autoclimb system.
The contract showed beyond dispute that the use of Autoclimb
is in no way restricted to towers with relatively simple
shapes. The thirty storey shops and residential accommodation
tower block has an extremely complex plan shape. |
