| The
Q1 Apartments Building is the worlds tallest residential
tower. It is located in Surfers Paradise, Queensland.
RMD Australia supported this project
by supplying 200t of Rapidstage, Super Planks, Hyplanks,
scaffold tube and couplers over a period of six weeks
to erect approximately 900m² of 5m high slab and
beams for level 2 support off level 1, approximately 900m²
of 5m high slab and beams for level 3 support off level
2 and approximately 400m² of 10m high slab and beams
for level 3 support off level 1.
During the erection of the Rapidstage
support system additional Rapidstage was utilised in an
access capacity for tying the steel for columns and for
pouring columns.
Using RMD's Rapidstage as the support
system provided a significant cost saving. |
