| The
Moggill Road Apartments are situated close to the Indooroopilly
Shopping Centre in Brisbane. The apartments consist of
two three storey buildings with carpark facilities in
the basement.
RMD’s Strongshor frames, braces,
base jacks, and U heads were used to support a 600mm car
park roof slab.
The new lighter weight Strongshor frames
enable site workers to more easily place components,
which means greater on-site productivity, less labour
and lower construction costs.
The Airodek high productivity soffit
system was used with No. 2 props to form the apartment
floor slabs, a total of 700m².. Other products used
were 150 x 77mm LVL as primary bearers, 95 x 65mm LVL
as secondary bearers, 17mm ply and 15mm Rapid Bar Tie.
