| The
G16 building is located at the Griffith University in
the Gold Coast. Jewel Scaffolding hired RMD’s Rapidstage
scaffolding system for perimeter access and edge protection.
The system hired consisted of Rapidstage,
Super Planks, Aluminium stair flights and mesh guards.
Rapidstage is easy to erect because
ledgers and transoms are fixed to the vertical standards
using a captive wedge connection. The captive connection
means there are no loose fittings, which reduces losses
and increases productivity in comparison to traditional
tube and coupler scaffolding.
The customer was very impressed with
the versatility of the system.
