Megashor is an ultra heavy-duty modular
propping system designed for axial loads of up to 1,000
kN. Its real strength lies in its versatility. It has
been used in heavy lifting towers, support spines for
tunnel formwork, bracing for excavations, shoring and
trusses.
Having nine leg sizes, ranging from
15mm to 5400m, plus a full range of accessories means
that Megashor can be assembled into props,
towers and trusses of almost any length.
Its unique 1000kN axial load capacity
and high axial stiffness ensures that Megashor accommodates
the rigours of heavy duty projects.
Megashor is often used to
support bridges open to traffic during bearing
replacement. Work can be carried out with minimal
disruption to traffic flows.
RMD Super Slim Soldiers provide restraint
for Megashor and are available in ten lengths from
90mm to 3600mm. This provides ultimate flexibility
and minimizes the need for custom made equipment.
Megashor can be configured for a
huge variety of applications.
It provides complete solutions for:
- Heavy duty falsework
- Cofferdams
- Bridge launching
- Bearing replacement
- Facade retention
- Travelling slab and tunnel formwork
