| The new
Narrows bridge is 338 metres long, and 28 metres wide.
It consists of five spans. The spans and pier locations
being similar to the original bridge.
RMD Australia supplied extensive quantities of its Megashor
high load capacity modular propping system. Other systems
used included Super Slim Soldiers - the backbone of the
RMD range - RMD Alform beams and Rapidshor shoring system,
as well as, push pull props, turnbuckles and accessories. |
