Mining Area C is BHP Billiton's latest mining development, the main ore body is South of the Werribee Ranges which is 120kms North East of Newman in Western Australia.

One of the many projects RMD Australia is involved with, in this development, is the Marillana Creek Bridge.
The Marillana Creek Bridge is a 25m long, steel trestle and concrete rail bridge.

For its construction RMD Australia provided the following equipment to our client John Holland Pty Ltd:
Rapidshor modular shoring equipment was supplied to support the trestle headstocks.

Rapidstage scaffolding provided the personnel stair access to the headstocks, some being 20m off the ground.
Headstock formwork consisted of ply, Alform Beam and Super Slim Soldier equipment and accessories. Therefore a total site construction solution package was offered. The weight of all equipment used was approximately 108t.
