| This
project involves the construction of a bridge over High
Road on the Brisbane to Beenleigh Road at Beenleigh. RMD
Australia supplied Super Slim Soldiers, Alform Beam, raking
shore jacks and accessories to construct abutment and
pier forms, to the contractor, George Simpson Builders
Pty Ltd.
The abutment forms were 18m long x 10m
high with counterforts on the back face. These forms were
reused five times to construct abutments A and B. Minor
modifications were performed for each separate use.
The pier forms were 18m long x 9m high,
and were also reused five times with minor modifications
for each individual pour. The project lasted for approximately
12 weeks. |
