| The
Eddystone Avenue Road Bridge project involved the construction
of a two-lane freeway flyover bridge over the Mitchell
Freeway and the Northern Suburbs railway line. It also
included a pedestrian underpass.
RMD's Super Slim Soldiers, Alform Beam,
Raking Shores, and 15mm dia Bar Ties were used to fabricate
wall form shutters, and casting bay formwork.
This incrementally launched bridge,
for which RMD Perth supplied the casting bed formwork,
was won as a result of RMD's effective support of the
earlier constructed Kwinana Freeway project for HWE/Clough.
RMD formwork is a cost effective solution
on these types of projects, particularly in comparison
to the contractor manufacturing specialised steel formwork.
